THE CREW

GROOMSMEN

BRIDESMAIDS

HOMETOWN: Columbus, OH

FUN FACT: Wrote a parody song at age 10 to the tune of Journey's "Open Arms" about former Cleveland Browns safety Najee Mustafaa.

The Best Man. Kenny and Danny grew up just a short hallway away from each other on Lochcarren Court in the world-renowned Columbus suburb of Worthington. As long as they've known each other, Kenny has always been Danny's older brother. But he is also the Teddy Ginn Jr. to his Troy Smith. The pair can have full conversations using only movie and television quotes and they strike fear into the hearts of anyone angling to challenge them in a game of Taboo. Kenny has also been recognized by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in the game "Rejected By Funderburke" and his ability to get the most out of John "Hot Rod" Williams in NBA Live '96. Kenny lives in the ever-expanding Columbus suburb of Dublin with his wife Suzanne and their two adorable kids, Allie and Ian.

Kenny Ecker

Elliott Cohen

HOMETOWN: Highland Park, IL

FUN FACT: Holds the Braeside Elementary School record for fastest lap around the building.

Danny's soon-to-be brother-in-law, Elliott has come a long way from the "pain in the ass" that he was as a child -- as those closest to him attest. Elliott and Danny sealed an immediate bond -- a brotherly love affair, you might say -- shortly after meeting, thanks to their shared amusement at Hillary's inability to hoist herself up onto even the most modestly heightened benches and ledges. Famous for his creativity, Elliott has earned critical acclaim for his uncanny impressions of various family members -- some of which will come out at the wedding, if we're lucky. Elliott is a proud resident of the tough streets of downtown Chicago, where he enjoys spending time with his wife, Dana, and their dashingly handsome son, Levi.

Frank Bauch

HOMETOWN: Oakland, CA

FUN FACT: Once performed a keg stand with flavor-blasted goldfish for a total of 11 seconds.

For various reasons, Frank has drawn comparisons to such sports legends as Dennis Eckersley, Magic Johnson and Ichiro Suzuki over the years. He and Danny went through college in near lockstep through journalism school, baseball, living together for two years, watching Family Guy and a shared appreciation for the Slowsky family. Frank not only boasts one of the finest baseball minds on the planet, he is widely regarded as the nation's preeminent historian of the Hyphy movement. Danny and Frank have spun in circles under the Gateway Arch, run from downtown San Francisco to Napa and once spent hours trying to remember Scott Kazmir's name. Frank calls San Francisco home today with his wife, Brittany, their lovable bulldog, Bella, and Frank's childhood teddy bear, Theodore E. Bear.

Storm Liebling

HOMETOWN: Nissequogue, NY

FUN FACT: Can shake a gallon of juice 8 times and put all of the particles of the liquid back into their original state.

Perhaps it was destiny that Storm and Danny lived together freshman year of college. Storm didn't know how to tie a tie and Danny hadn't been formally introduced to the musical stylings of Ben Folds nor the genius of Sacha Baron Cohen. Danny helped encourage Storm to go to class, while Storm in return taught Danny how to rap in French. If Danny were to marry a man, it would probably be Storm. Some have described the native Long Islander as the son that Derek Jeter and Zigmund Palffy never had. Others have agreed with that description. Storm lives in New York City, where he is a first year pediatrics resident at the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.

Tyler Stephen

HOMETOWN: Columbus, OH

FUN FACT: Finished 3rd in the State of Ohio in the 1993 NFL "Punt, Pass and Kick" competition.

Tyler and Danny met at age 6, when the two built an epic rivalry over who could read more books in Mrs. Line's 1st grade class. Despite his lifelong allegiance to that team up north, Tyler has been one of Danny's closest friends ever since. He and Danny have staged Notebook Games tournaments, co-anchored a fake Sportscenter show about the history of the Internet, attended the Arena Bowl and shared the dishonorable experience of downplaying Hurricane Katrina as it was gaining steam in the Gulf Coast. Tyler is still the only person Danny has ever met that can tuck the upper part of his ear into the middle and remains the only friend whose childhood phone number he still knows by heart. Tyler resides in Dublin, Ohio, where he is the head coach of both the Jerome High School boys tennis team and its two-time state champion girls team.

Dana Cohen

HOMETOWN: Northbrook, IL

FUN FACT: Dana once lived in a 5 ft.-wide room for a year.

The Matron of Honor. Hillary met Dana at overnight camp when she was 10 and Dana was 12, although Dana probably doesn't remember because she was the cool older camper. So it was a pleasant surprise when, 10 years later, Hillary's brother, Elliott, brought Dana home to meet the family and Hillary immediately recognized the fellow Agawak girl. Five years later Elliott and Dana got married and Hillary got a sister! Dana is Hillary's most-trusted fashion consultant and etiquette advisor. She is loving mother to Hillary's adorable and cool nephew, Levi.

Micela Leis

HOMETOWN: Providence, RI

FUN FACT: Has read the fifth Harry Potter book at least 8 times.

Hillary and Micela met at Tufts University the first week of freshman year and lived on the same floor of Houston Hall. Micela was originally pre-med like Hillary, but switched majors early on after learning that blood actually grosses her out. Instead, Micela has become an awesome teacher and is currently working on getting her Ph.D. in educational psychology. Micela and Hillary share many things, including their love of chick flicks, theories on life and love, and clothes. During their friendship, the two have taught each other much -- Micela has taught Hillary how to play squash and racquetball, and Hillary has taught Micela how to match pitch and make flirty faces at attractive guys.

Ashley Cohen

HOMETOWN: Northbrook, IL

FUN FACT: When Ashley was 3 years old, she beat up a 5 year old boy on the playground. It's ok -- he deserved it. :)

Ashley is Hillary's little cousin both in age and stature. The two have spent many years together styling Grandpa Joe's hair in Lake Geneva, being pushed around by their older brothers, and fighting back against said older brothers. Growing up, Ashley held the record of "drinking [her] milk the fastest". She was also the #1 cheerleader at Elliott's summer baseball games. They have made it a mission every Rosh Hashanah to protest the way in which the challah is passed around - men first and then women; and their women's rights campaign has made small steps.

HOMETOWN: Columbus, OH

FUN FACT: Invited Adam Sandler to her bat mitzvah. Sadly, he couldn't make it.

Julie is Danny's little sister and responsible for making Danny the classic "middle child". Julie recently graduated from Indiana University and has landed the awesome job of traveling around the country to different SDT chapters and showing them how to properly run a sorority. On top of her title as best dancer in the Ecker family, Julie has been known to hustle over-confident golfers out of their dignity on the links. Hillary has her fingers crossed that Julie will move to Chicago some day.

Julie Ecker

HOMETOWN: Cincinnati, OH

FUN FACT: Went to high school with former Ohio State and NFL star Ahmed Plummer.

When she's not chasing around her darling kids, Allie and Ian, or cheering on her beloved Cincinnati Bengals, Suzanne spends her days working, watching reality television and helping lead the Columbus Jewish community. She has perfected the art of multi-tasking, as she can often be found doing yoga while cooking, holding Ian in one arm, and singing a song to Allie.
